Step 1: Set up Notes Recovery

Notes Disappeared from Mac, How to Recover Lost Notes?

Retrieve Disappeared Notes from .storedata Files
Step 1. Open Finder. Click Go > Go to Folder. Enter in this path:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes/.
Step 2. Find files named as .storedata or .storedata-wal, which may contain the texts of the lost notes.
Step 3. Then open the .storedata and .storedata-wal files following the method introduced in Part 1.
Restore Disappeared Notes from Time Machine
Time Machine is the built-in backup function of Mac. With it, you can find the backup of notes and recover them.
Step 1. Open Time Machine in the Dock.
Step 2. Go to ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes/Data/Library/Notes/. Find a version of the Notes file that are created before the deletion.
Step 3. Click Restore to restore the selected file.
Step 4. Then exit Time Machine and launch the Notes app on your Mac. The missing notes should reappear.
